Dear ICSC Members,
What we are witnessing in Gaza is a moral failure and a humanitarian disaster.
In two months, more than 17,000 civilians have been killed and many more are severely injured, unable to receive the medical care they need. The situation is unbearable. Nothing can justify this catastrophe.
Today, we invite you, Sites of Conscience around the world, to stand together and demand:
- An immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza;
- The respect for human rights and international humanitarian law by all parties;
- The provision without restriction of humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza.
In this light, we have developed a statement which can be signed here.
The International Coalition of Sites of Conscience’s analysis of the situation in Palestine and Israel, which is grounded in the work of its members around the world, can be found here.
Here you can also find other ways to take action.
In solidarity,
The International Coalition of Sites of Conscience
