Parque por la Paz (Park for Peace) Villa Grimaldi is located in the former Chilean dictatorship’s principle center for detention, torture, and extermination. It is now a place where people’s rights are promoted and defended, and where historical memory is recovered.

It offers a program in Human Rights education, as well as public access to a collection of over 100 testimonies recorded by those who suffered repression in the former detention center. In 2004, Parque por la Paz Villa Grimaldi was recognized as a National Monument.
