The Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire (BHTNH) promotes awareness and appreciation of African American history and life in order to build more inclusive communities today.

BHTNH offers tours throughout the state of New Hampshire and programs that encourage all of the state’s residents – 95% of whom are white – to understand the history and contributions of African Americans in their state.
