The CALDH is a permanent space, open to the public, with special emphasis on youth, which communicates and exhibits for purposes of study, deconstruction, and analysis the history of Guatemala. In particular, it examines the country’s history of oppression, structural problems, and also the resistance of those who lived in the past and those who inhabit these territories today, in order to rebuild the collective memory, give new meaning to history, regain a sense of personal and collective identity, highlight the human rights violations and resistance of peoples, all in support of the non-repetition of the serious violations in Guatemala.
