The Cush Organization for Development Advocacy, Norge (CODA) is an indigenous international nonprofit focused on promoting education, health, good governance, transitional justice, and peace in war-torn communities while empowering vulnerable populations through modern agriculture. Its programs include “Memory to Action,” which honors victims of the December 2013 Juba Massacre through memorialization efforts and storytelling; educational initiatives that preserve heritage and prevent future atrocities; documentation to support transitional justice mechanisms; and advocacy for accountability and reconciliation. CODA’s efforts aim to foster dialogue and unity, working with diverse stakeholders to build a more just and peaceful future in South Sudan.
